A dinner was held in Head Office on December 14th 1945 in order to celebrate the Bank's Deposit Balances reaching the £70 million
mark. The Lord Mayor, Chairman, and General Manager hosted the event. The £70 million in funds was reached after successive years
of substantial growth during the War.
The Year-end Balances for 1945 and 1946 were:
